Seventy-year-old Mahin has been living alone in a suburb of Tehran since her husband's death and her daughter's departure to Europe—until one day she decides to break her single routine and revive her love life. A chance encounter quickly turns into an unpredictable and unforgettable evening.

This bittersweet story of a late-life romance, infused with warmth and humor, depicts the lives of Iranian women behind closed doors. The film, which had to be shot in secret, is, according to the director, "a celebration of women, life, and freedom."
