Marko Črnčec is one of the most recognized contemporary Slovenian musicians. He is known internationally as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer, especially in jazz and popular music. He has released 7 original CDs with resounding reviews, which ranks him as one of the most creative and productive musicians of Slovenian jazz music. His album "Devotion" (2014, Whirlwind Recordings) was ranked by the biggest jazz publication All About Jazz as one of the 20 best jazz albums in the world in 2014. With this, Črnčec found himself in the company of the cream of jazz, such as Brian Blade, Tigran Hamasyan, Ambrose Akinmusire, Jason Moran and others. For the last 4 years, Marko has also been a member of the band of the excellent American jazz guitarist Jonathan Kreisberg, with whom he performs concerts all over the world.
