Who Gives Cartoon Characters Their Slovenian Words?

This year, for the first time, special attention will be given to the translation of cartoons and animated films. Shows such as ŽivŽav and other children's public programs on Televizija Slovenija will be closely examined. The team will include Matej Juh, a seasoned translator of cartoons, editor at Radio Slovenia, and a comparative literature expert, in the role of selector. Co-selector will be Martina Peštaj, editor of the Youth and Children's Program at TV Slovenia, a psychologist, and a children's author. The professional team will also include Maja Sever, an experienced translator and specialist in cartoon dubbing.

The Pranger Translat is organised by KUD Pranger with the support of the Municipality of Maribor and the Slovenian Book Agency, with partners. The festival is part of the reading culture programme co-financed by the Slovenian Book Agency.
