Zajtrk

Zajtrk is a singer-songwriter ethno-chanson band that focuses on creating witty and socially critical lyrics in Slovenian. Their music blends folk and ethnic sounds with punk chanson, cabaret, jazz, blues, and pop, creating a unique and alternative singer-songwriter expression.

The band is committed to preserving the Slovenian language in their lyrics, which are full of social critique, humor, and folk elements. Their songs explore human life in all its comedic, rebellious, confused, and tragic aspects, as well as its happy and unhappy moments. Zajtrk strives for creative autonomy while maintaining a special mix of playfulness and sincerity.

The duo consists of Laura Krajnc (violin, vocals, tambourine) and Sven Horvat (guitar, vocals). They are inspired by their love of fairy tales, stories, legends, humorous anecdotes, theater, and other "fancy whims," which is clearly reflected in their musical expression.
