ALLEGORIES – FRAGMENTS, ALLEGORIES TRILOGY, 2022 –2025
Allegories - Fragments is a performance that focuses on the specifics of the representations of the twelve months, emphasizing the physicality and sculptural nature of the dance language. In some places, the project refers to the liturgy of the celebration and the theme of the brilliant image of the months and natural personifications that marked the celebrations and rituals. The fragmentary nature of the performance is manifested in the arrangement of images, deities and attributes. The scenes are divided into sets according to the seasons and lead the story, turning time in the sequence of months and years: harvest, harvest, autumn sowing, or images of the spinning mill alternating between motifs of hunting and rest.
