Film in Minoriti: Nina and the Hedgehog's Secret
Ten-year-old Nina loves the stories her father tells her every night. The main character is a hedgehog who fearlessly discovers the world. One day, however, her father, along with other workers, loses his job in a nearby factory. Nino starts to worry about the future of her family. Fortunately, Mehdi, Nino's best friend, is there. What if a treasure hidden in an old factory could solve all their problems? Nina is full steam ahead with her plans, but Mehdi would rather think twice about every step. But they can always count on each other. A thrilling adventure begins, in which they must escape an old neighbour and her two cats, fool a greedy factory owner and his huge dog, and hide everything from their parents. Luckily, they have the help of a brave little hedgehog, and an imagination that never lets you down!
I think it is very important to talk to children about real things. It would be a mistake to think that children are not affected by current events or that they are not aware of the problems their parents are facing. When children see similar situations in a film, it can help them to understand and suffer less from these problems. The film is realistic in this respect, but still includes characters who do extraordinary things, as well as an imaginary hedgehog who accompanies the heroine.
