Božo Dimnik: V znamenju ribe
An extraordinary life story, beginning at the Yugoslav royal court. You will hear firsthand accounts from a man who rubbed shoulders with the Yugoslav crown prince, survived World War II in Ljubljana, endured the confiscation of his family's property, spent time in communist prisons, experienced socialism while playing cards with Stane Dolanc, founded and led the World Slovenian Congress (SSK) conference in Switzerland for four years, and much more. Personal narratives of experiencing socialism, contributions to Slovenia's international recognition, and the development of incredibly tense and exceptional international entrepreneurial tales will be shared by author Božo Dimnik.
The conversation with the author will be moderated by Slavko Bobovnik.
The book presentation is organized by the Cultural Center Maribor.
